Oxford International Curriculum

A connected approach to knowledge, skills and wellbeing.

 An International Framework.

A Personal Learning Experience.

Rosemary School of Innovation plans to introduce the Oxford International Curriculum for its Early Years and Primary programme, subject to the completion of Oxford University Press's formal evaluation, agreement and onboarding requirements. The curriculum offers a coherent approach to teaching and learning, connecting academic study with wellbeing, sustainability and the skills children need to engage with a changing world.

Its published materials emphasise progression in English, mathematics, science and computing, together with global skills, wellbeing and sustainability. Newer programme materials also describe geography and history offerings. The exact subjects and year levels introduced at Rosemary will be confirmed in the school's approved academic plan.

Learning That Builds Year by Year

Concepts and skills are revisited with greater challenge as children grow. This progressive approach supports fluency, depth and continuity rather than a collection of disconnected activities.

Learning That Connects Subjects

A project about clean water can draw on scientific investigation, mathematical measurement, persuasive writing, geography, responsible decision-making and collaboration. Children discover why knowledge matters.

Teaching Supported by Professional Development

The proposed programme includes structured curriculum resources and teacher development. At Rosemary, these tools will support—not replace—the professional judgement, care and creativity of our teachers.
