Early Years

The beginning of a lifelong love of learning.

The early years are a time of extraordinary growth. Children learn through relationships, movement, stories, play, questions and first-hand experiences. Our proposed Early Years programme is designed to give young learners a secure, joyful and stimulating foundation. Informed by the Oxford International Curriculum Early Years framework, our approach balances child-initiated exploration with skilfully guided activities. Teachers observe carefully, extend conversations and create opportunities for children to make connections at their own pace.

Seven Connected Areas of Learning

  • Communication and language
  • Physical development;
  • Personal, social and emotional development
  • Literacy
  • Mathematics
  • Understanding the world
  • Expressive arts and design.

Play with Purpose

A block tower becomes an early lesson in balance. A shared story develops vocabulary and empathy. A nature walk invites observation, classification and wonder. Children are active participants in learning.

A Warm Start to School

Routines, positive relationships, movement and choice help children develop independence and a sense of belonging. The goal is readiness for learning, not premature pressure to perform.
