Global Skills Projects

Learning becomes meaningful when it leads somewhere.
Ideas into Action.
The Oxford Global Skills Projects framework connects creativity, critical thinking, real-world skills, communication, collaboration and self-development. At Rosemary, projects are intended to help children apply knowledge to a purposeful question.
Investigate
Identify a real issue, gather information, listen to different perspectives and ask better questions.
Create
Plan a response, develop a prototype, write a proposal, design an exhibit or communicate an idea.
Collaborate
Share responsibilities, consider feedback and practise listening, leadership and fairness.
Reflect
Explain what worked, what changed and what could be improved next time.
A project could involve designing a school garden, documenting local biodiversity, exploring safer journeys or planning a small reading campaign. Examples illustrate the learning approach and are not promises of programmes already running
